DUCK DERBY OFFICIAL DISCLAIMER

LEASE TERMS:  Prize winner must be 18 years or older and take delivery under terms of the lease and dealer contract.  Vehicle lease subject to credit approval.  A cash award in the amount of $1000 will be substituted if applicant is denied credit.  All parties adopting a duck must be 18 years of age at the time of adoption (purchase of certificate of adoption). Adoption of a duck (purchase of Certificate of Adoption for a given duck) confers no right of ownership of the subject duck. Neither the United Way Agency of Erie County, Ohio, nor The Sandusky Main Street Association, nor any of the other sponsors of the race of the “adopted” ducks make any actual or implied warranty or guarantee either as to the fitness of the duck(s) to remain afloat the entire race, or that the duck(s) will finish (complete passage) of the entire race course. All participating parties assume the risk either that the numbered duck(s) for which they purchase an adoption certificate(s) may not be the first duck to cross the finish line or that the duck(s) may not complete passage of the entire race course. Purchase of the certificate of adoption acknowledges and confirms purchaser’s acceptance of the terms and provisions contained herein.
